About Golden Carers

Hi, my name is Solange and I have been in the aged care industry for the past 25 years. I am a Diversional Therapist.

Goldencarers.com was created primarily to assist and share ideas with recreational workers, Diversional therapists, Recreation Therapists, 'at home' carers, and volunteers.

I often search the web for new ideas and activities for my clients and I thought that perhaps with a special site developed specifically for this purpose I could gather material to share with other people in the industry.

My hope is that you can be not only inspired by this site but also share your best news, tips and hints with us.

We would like to hear about activities, venues for community outings, documentation, arts, floor and table games, cultural and ethnic celebrations and spiritual activities that work for you. We will do our utmost to inform you of conferences, meetings, lectures and anything else about our profession.
