Australia Day celebration!

Next week we celebrate Australia Day and at work we are preparing for a day full of music and fun. The residents have been busy painting paper templates of koalas, kangaroos, possums and other Aussie animals which staff are laminating and hanging around the facility in line with the theme. The action will start in the morning just after breakfast. The residents will be escorted to the recreation room where they will be seated around a large table to watch staff making the dumper. Throughout the day we will have Aussie sing-a-longs, Two-Up games, carpet bowls and wheel of fortune games; not forgetting the typical Aussie Barbie at lunch time with rissoles, sausages and steaks.
