Mercy on Feedback | 28th February 2013

I would like to commend this website as it is a great practical resource. I work in a 110 bed facility with ageing in place and Golden Carers has helped me tremendously in planning activities for residents with different needs.
Keep up the good work!

Cheryl-ann on Who wants to be a millionaire? | 28th February 2013

Hi, my name is cheryl-ann . This is a great game. I did the same when I coordinated Sherwood Respite in Queensland, but I called it "Who wants to be a mintyaire". We had cardboard boxes painted up by some of the clients as computers. We ran it similar to the TV show. I had some old activity books with trivia questions in, which we used. It was one of the most popular items on our program as a lot of cheating was done with Minty's.

Marina on 15 Activities for Late Stage Alzheimer's Disease | 28th February 2013

I look after middle to late stage dementia, and I find our residents love country western music(old style) 60's music and Cook Island music. Some tap their feet, some get up and dance or jiggle, and you can feel the happiness in the room. We dont have a T.V. in our activities room.
