If you buy plastic pony beads in bulk, they are often cheap and you can use hat elastic - no needle required.

With most of the beaded necklaces you can get, the beads cannot be taken off and separated....I have found. Which is a shame as this is the cheaper option. Dianne

Hi Shirley, You are better off buying the ‘memory wire’ to make bracelets and necklaces. They are stiff and easy to insert (no needles needed). See instructions for ‘Stringing Beads’.
