Poppy flowers have long been a part of Memorial Day, Remembrance Day and Anzac Day. Here is another way of making a Poppy; this time in fabric.

We made some Poppies today and the residents enjoyed it. We made it a group effort, some traced the CD, some cut out the circles and others sewed. It started great conversations and they all loved the finished product. Thank you so much for this activity.

We made these poppies but used black felt cut in circles and glued in the centre, Abit easier than sewing buttons and the residents were able to do it for me.
