What about including some of the women aviators that were trailblazers of their time. The following are all Australian; BRYANT, Millicent 1878 - 1927, TAYLOR, Florence OBE (also Australia's first female architect), BONNEY, Maude Rose 'Lores' O.B.E.: 1897 - 1994, THOMPSON, Freda : 1906 - 1980, McKILLOP, Peggy : 1909 - 1999, BIRD-WALTON, Nancy A.O., O.B.E : 1915, DUIGAN, Dr Suzanne Lawless (Sue), WEST, Fran : 1952 -, KENNARD, Gaby, SHEPHERD, Janine :ARNOT, Allana all amazing women achieving many "firsts" in avaiation. Of course we also have other amazing women in aviation Amelia Earhart, Jean Batten, Amy Johnson and Anne Lindbergh. Do a bit of research on these women and their stories makes for great story telling and reminiscing with residents.
