Therapeutic Recreation Activities

Therapeutic Recreation is widely used by Recreation Therapists as a means of maintaining health and wellness. Golden Carers provides hundreds of activities that can assist with therapeutic recreation, specifically where leisure and social activities are required.

With an ageing population throughout much of the Western world - there are more and more people requiring therapeutic recreation in the aged care workforce and the role we play as recreation therapists has never been so important. We are known by many different titles including Diversional Therapist, Activities Coordinator and Lifestyle Coordinator - however we are all united in our goal to enhance the lives of those in our care.
