Hey Kaimraj
Most places now hire who they can get
They most important thing is to get quality people and matter their gender or race
Here are some ideas for Black History Month

In my building the female resident population is greater than the male population, but that is because woman generally live longer than men. As far as staffing, more woman work in my building than men do, but we have a good amount of men that work here. We also have a great ratio of diversity between African American staff and Caucasian staff, however the ratio for residents here there are a greater amount of white residents. Where I am from we have a huge Polish community and Italian community that immigrated here a long time ago. However in my area is becoming more diverse, as more jobs are opening in the area and people of all ethnicities are moving here for the work opportunities and the fact that Covid is more prevalent in the cities, people are moving out of cities and moving to smaller communities like mine. Which is awesome because my town population has been steadily declining for the last 2-3 decades.

As far as celebrating Black History Month, I will be doing a Virtual Travel Program to South Africa, we will discuss traditions, try a variety of Authentic South African Cuisine, and listen to authentic music. I am still working on some other ideas, but that is what I have for now. I would love to know what you are planning.
