Hi, I am an activity director at a skilled facility and our governor has discontinued all group activities and communal dining for 5 months. I have had activity cart going room to too, bunker bingo, special snacks like ice cream floats, drive by parades, virtual vacations, FaceTime appointments that I can barely keep up with. I am the only activity person our facility has 38 beds, very small. I also do hair, nails and am expected to assist with daily meal deliveries. My residents cry to me daily. I am either the residents fill-in daughter and the floor staffs mother. I am drowning, how is everyone else keeping up? Any suggestions? What should I be doing during the Covid restrictions.

Did I mention I do not get any hazard pay (the nurses and aids do) and they want me to maintain 40 hours a week, nights and weekends are required. I am fried!!
