(Just yesterday) I took the residents out on the patio.
I paired my speaker and phone and we did music exercises.
We used shakers (which I made out of plastic emoji Easter eggs) and shear scarves. The residents requested their songs and we moved at our own free will.
In between I would throw out a trivia question, Two truths and a lie or something similar to take a little extra rest.
We also drank lemon tea in between songs to keep hydrated. These exercises are perfect for the wheelchair bound residents or those that are able to ambulate on their own. Almost all my activities are music based.
