in a Convent - I just hang a note at the Nurses' Station and on the dining room door stating necessary changes for that day - - and I don't hang it too early, usually by 8:00 the day that the changes occur. Here's one of mine.

and the nurses started bringing them or watching the clients while I did it. It is very difficult without help from the nurses or volunteers especially in a facility with four floors. My suggestion is for you to take your concern to the nurses meeting and appeal for help. Best wishes.
