Diversional Therapist Hi Julie, it is really bizarre that your work is not recognized in Ireland. In Australia we tolerated negative comments for years but in my experience it is now much better. Nurses, management and RNs have some degree of respect for what we do and sometimes even assist us with activities by participating (pantomimes, games. skits, karaoke).
