This is a brillant idea-our team have been using coloured paint chip cards from hard ware store which are then cut out into various christms shapes using cookie cutters as templates

Hi Maryann, The wooden branch Christmas tree is just an addition to the festivities. It is nice to have both the traditional and the wooden tree.

Hi all

We have actually used this one too. Its great. Easter time we decorate styrofoam eggs and put them on. Xmas time we make decorations and hang them. It looks great and the residents love to see their own work hanging up.

This looks great and so simple to do.we are making a "christmas memory tree". A card size piece of cardboard and in the centre a handwritten" christmas memory".Then decorate with stickers, glitter, paint etc aroung the edge of the card. We plan to attach them to a christmas tree . Could also make a "christmas memory wall" attach the cards to a piece of coloured hessian and hang it up on a wall.
