This Day in History for Seniors: June

I use this every day for a who am I trivia during breakfast. I also read out the other on this day items and of course the bad jokes. My residents love it!

I’m so grateful that I found this site Golden Carers.Being new as an activity coordinator I need more ideas to give more activities for an elderly mostly with dementia. I found this site very helpful .Thank you so much.

why is there no spanish version of the 2cnd edition missing???

I visit each resident in the morning and provide a copy of this day in history and a reminder sheet on what's happening on this day. They absolutely love it! (Thank You!) This gives me an opportunity to even visit with residents who does not participate in group activities.

On this day in history is an extra snippet we read to our Residents of a morning along with the Newspaper. They enjoy the jokes. Thanks Golden Carers
