Hi Erika, no it doesn’t. The residents are happy putting the washing in and then taking it out to fold or hang on the provided hangers.
I would highly recommend you give it a try because it’s been very successful.
It provides them with a feeling of independence and it’s amazing how they actually remember what to do.
