Hi, I ran this activity before and it went great! Do you have a file that can be edited on Word or some other platform? I'd like to fill in street names from our town.

Hi Karen, Thank you so much for sharing this idea. I did some modifying and typed up all my own cards to reflect our local streets and the residents and family thought it was absolutely fabulous. We had one family visiting and when the game was done they wheeled their loved one over their old street to 'take them for a drive down home.' We are predominantly high care so unfortunately walking around the board wasn't an option for us but we made the board big enough for everyone to sit around and worked in teams to roll the dice. We used ornaments from around the room as our markers including boats, bears, etc. I've received a lot of positive feedback from this activity and I'm so grateful that you shared it and in turn enabled me to share it with our residents. What a great way to modify the game to still incorporate everyone! We have not used ours since creating it so it might be time to have another game of Giant Monopoly!

I've just realised that I made a mistake with the property cards. they still have our local street names instead of the monopoly street names. Sorry for that everyone, If would advise just putting a sticker over each name and writing in the correct name.
