Our Residents love this game. We call it Captain of the Ship . The 6 is the captain, the 5 is the ship, the 4 is the crew and the rest of the dice are the cargo. So the object is to get everything for your ship and the highest value cargo you can. If you get 6,5,4 in one roll we shout 'Zanzibar!' to celebrate. It is a great game to play with a resident 1:1 with normal dice , or have residents play each other around a table. I also play it with bigger groups with blow up dice that we throw across the floor. I use a cardboard box lid with sides to contain the roll of the dice and also play it with a leather cup ( a paper cup works as well) as the sound of that many dice can irritate residents who are quite sensory. Residents often say 'This is easy but fun'.
