Art-Based Cognitive Therapy: Palm Sketch
9 159

Art-based Cognitive Therapy is of great benefit and may be included in a well-being program. Residents can be introduced to watercolour and acrylic painting.

In this activity, residents first create a beautiful and colorful backdrop with paint and then sketch their palms after learning about the 4 major lines of the palm.

Art-Based Cognitive Therapy: Palm Sketch can help calm the mind and reduce stress from gaming disorder. A simple palm sketch encourages grounding and mindfulness during screen-free breaks. Try pairing it with relaxing activities like cute unicorn coloring pages for added creativity.

Loved the Art-Based Cognitive Therapy: Palm Sketch! we traced everyones hands with a black felt let them do what they wanted, some people coloured in their hands others abstracted and others painted fingernails on hands. I googled some info on palm reading and we all chatted about it. Awesome activity:)
