I would appreciate very much if I could receive from you an instruction on how to write a progress note about mobility impairment........... I got your sample progress note but it did not include this subject.

Hi Ngoc, I would need to know a bit more about the resident, but for mobility impairment, these are some familiar details I would include in a note:

You may want to state how often they can independently attend activities, i.e., they were able to wheel themselves to the days activities 3 x a week. Or if they are dependent, you can mention that the resident is offered transport to activities of his/her choice 3 x a week.

Has their attendance to activities declined due to mobility impairment?

What activities have been adapted to suit the mobility impairment?

Do they often fall asleep in their chair? Are they able to transfer easily or need assistance?

I'm not sure if this helps, but if you provide a bit more detail I can try to be more specific.
