Hello, I am The director of recreation in a nursing home. Am I legally allowed to cut the hair of the residents using only clippers in Brooklyn, New York if I am not a licensed barber? I have searched the web all over and can't seem to find any answers. Does anyone have any information on this subject?

I do not live in new York and I’d don’t know what their guidelines are
This is what I would do
Contact the City Hall in Brooklyn and ask them
Look online to see if you can find out
Call other facilities and see what they do
Contact a local barber and see what he does
Maybe you can get him to volunteer
