Anyone got any ideas for a man with moderate dementia and extremely deaf. His mobility is good. As to be in the home activities. I'm in the UK. Hobbies are football and cricket. He is a new client so I'm not sure what his capabilities are at the moment. I think i may need more sensory activities. Thank you

Hi Lindsey

I think a good idea might be exercise with the visual cues

You might want to make him an exercise Cd or maybe you could find something on YouTube that he might be interested in. Make sure it has lots of visual cues since you cannot hear well

He might like to watch football or cricket games

He may like to play table top football games if you show him how to do it

I’m loving my Golden Carers membership. I found great resources and was able to use them from my very first day. The membership is of great value in my work as both an Activities Director, and also an Activities Consultant. I look forward to continuing to use the site and the forum.
