doll therapy is something you need to educate staff and family memebers on as it can be very confronting , but saying that it works perfectly for some residents who are at the stage in their dementia journey where they need the comfort and have the need to nurture, it can work for men as well as women a great place to get good information is on the spark of life dementia care Australia site i hope this helps
