HI everyone, I have to set up an induction/ orientation check list to use when new lifestyle staff (usually untrained) start. Any ideas? I guess the usual documentation training, where equipment is kept etc, policies and procedures but what else? Or if someone has one already could I have a sample. Thanks :)
Hi Cathy, sounds like a great idea.When I started, I would have loved to have had a list of residents and which activities they enjoyed. Also a few one liners on how to talk to the residents when encouraging them to participate in activities.
i have just started and something like this would be great
