I did something like this with my residents after seeing this idea. I painted a large tree. I printed off birds, bees, flowers for in the tree, sunflowers for the grass at the bottom of the tree, a beehive and bird's nest with baby birds. They got to pick what they wanted to color and we have a nice springtime scene in the dining room =)
