I have done a Limerick activity several times with both low care and high care clients and it has been very successful. Dementia clients enjoy it if you make up verses and include their name in the rhyme, even if they are unable to follow the whole verse they will recognise their name.It is sometimes tricky trying to find rhymes for some names but it creates lots of fun and laughter.
