This fun and easy putting game is a hit with golf enthusiasts and beginners alike! It combines a bit of crafting with light physical activity, making it great for a group project followed by some friendly competition.
What you need:
- Large cardboard box
- Scissors or utility knife
- Paints or colored paper for decorating
- Golf putters and balls (or use soft indoor alternatives)
Instructions:
- Cut the flaps off one side of the box to create an open edge.
- Cut 3–5 rectangular holes into that open side—large enough for a golf ball to roll through.
- Decorate the box as a group using paints, stickers, or markers. You can assign point values to each hole for added challenge.
- Allow time for any paint to dry.
- Set the finished box up in a hallway or activity room.
- Mark a line on the floor as the putting spot and let the games begin!
Super simple activity, my clients loved decorating the box and then using it for putting practice!

We play this game and putt putt made with paper cups .
I got my golf putters and golf balls from a pro shop just asked them if they had any cheap ones for my men at the facility and they donated 6 putters and 50 used golf balls

Where do you get the golf clubs and golf balls
I know you can buy toy ones and sometimes you could find them at Goodwill or another similar store
You can also write to golf ball manufacturers
They may donate some golf balls to you
