We are having a Mexican supper tomorrow, Colouring flags and doing our own pinata. Using some spanish cds , we have sombreros and I am doing a staff buffet for carers week.

That's great, and well done, this is a multicultural art & craft event. Working at Dementia Unit I have developed a Piñata Project, is a great way to introduce visual and tactile stimulation. Residents have fun cutting small pieces of newspapers and paste on to the balloon. Was awesome to see how residents participate in the activity, and reminisce. We make the Australian Flag and strawberry piñata.
