So excited to try this in May! Hoping it sparks interest in similar projects during the rest of the year!
Thanks for this idea. I used it with paper plates, wrapped each with black or white tissue paper & made paper flowers (black, white or red serviettes) & glued. Very stylish & cost effective.

It is very safe to use hot glue. I let my residents use normal glue themselves and I finished it off with the hot glue gun.
I used hot glue to glue the hair comb in place. My residents enjoyed the afternoon making the hats and are busy having an hat parade on their own steam.

Hi Shirley.
No, the hot glue will not melt the plastic plate as it will be covered.
cheers

I love this idea...will be brilliant for my Easter parade.

I don't think so, Shirley. The plastic plates are really tough but you may use PVA or Elmer's glue as well.
just wondering would'nt the hot glue melt the plastic paper plate? Shirley NSW
