I am in desperate need of entertainment for aged care homes in the Ringwood area of Melbourne, if they are lower in price then we could give regular gigs. More expensive would be not as many bookings maybe 1 or 2 a year. Preferably musical, singing instruments etc!!!

I work in a facility in country NSW most of my entertainment I source from local church groups and schools usually free or minimal cost .

Not sure what the price range is that you are able to accommodate. Morning melodies, at the different hotels, have certain entertainers that would be accommodating to fit into your price range.
We also offered local schools the chance to practice upcoming shows for our residents at all times of the year x
Trish, you could try your local country music club.If you have a U3A group you could contact them.
Go to: http://www.goldenmemories.org.au and order any of the Singalong DVD's. I find people love to sing and they like these played over and over. I have never had a complaint. They are older persons song, although you can also get Country and 50's and 60's music. They do cost $40 per DVD. Find a way to purchase as you have a ready-made activity that will bring great joy. Golden Memories Karaoke come to our facility 3 times a month and entertain in our 3 different sections. Can't recommend them highly enough. Geoff and Maggie are their names.

Adult colouring in - Residents that have difficulty applying pressure on a pencil find it easier to use gel pens, to colour with, as the ink flows easy. The colours are vibrant and utilizing the glitter gel pens, give the picture a sparkle.
