I am so grateful for this site. It has been a great help to me as a new Activity Assistant. It’s good to know that I always have an activity ready and effective. I truly appreciate you.

Happy New Year everyone!
I've been given a small room inside my Recreation Centre that I have decided to turn into a Senior's Lounge. It has enough space for two tables and six chairs. I'm looking for any ideas for programs or workshops you think the senior population would enjoy!
So, far I have added a bulletin board with the puzzles and word games found on this website and a small coffee/tea bar, music player, puzzles, cards board games, and coloring pages.
Curious if anyone has ever done something like this and how they got the ball rolling!
