Last year we introduced equine therapy(outdoors), which was wonderful This year, we plan 2 spring visits, and 2 fall visits with the horses to our village.
As you mention; Robotic Animal Therapy is beneficial for late stages of Alzheimer's, in addition to Palliating Residents.
I plan to print off both articles and share with our care staff as part of benefits for Emotional Support in Therapeutic Recreation.
Our village provides an animal policy and medical form to all dog and cat visits , and residents.
