How do you get the residents involved in the activities. I have a hard time getting the staff to do the activities. Any crafts are out of the question. We use to do them but they turn their nose down and won't participate so I took all crafts off the calendar. I am struggling with ideas. Any suggestions would help.

To Best answer this question. I need to know what kind of setting you are in and the level of function of your residents
Generally speaking, it is the leader of the group who sets the tone for whatever activity you are doing. They need to be inclusive, enthusiastic, and excited about what you are doing think of the activities leader.
As an actor, I was able to make watching paint dry and exciting activity because of the way I led the group
