Hello to all Activity Professionals. We went back to a full lockdown again. Residents are back into their rooms. So, does anyone have any new activities for residents who are once again having to stay their rooms. Thanking you all in advance.

Hi, When we were on lockdown. We did magazine scavenger hunts. We created a list of items that could be found in different magazines and the residents tore out the page where the item was located. The magazines were passed out one day and picked up another day. We gave the winner a prize. The residents loved doing the scavenger hunt with magazines.

The magazines were disposed of after each hunt.

Sorry for the lockdown. We started virtual bingo, book club, recently it has been a big hit. Were looking forward to the nursing home week . Residents need some happiness and finally, have some entertainment so excited.Best of luck as I tell my staff every morning its a new day .
