Join NowI co-own and operate a small assisted living home in Pittsfield, NH (U.S.A.). We consistently seek ways to improve upon our senior activity program, providing a diversified balance of a purposeful and enjoyable time of recreation, crafting, exercise and others to reach all of our residents. I must say, it's been a challenge. This past October I began researching options online and came across your site, subscribing for a year to see what you were all about. Let me tell you, you have not disappointed! Your site is a priceless resource that we are extremely thankful for. We find a significant increase in resident participation and look forward to the new ideas that each month brings. Our residents love the changes!

Hello, I have just renewed my membership after spending a year with Golden Carers. My residents in the home where I am Activities leader have totally enjoyed all the activities I have used from your website. I have used your newsletter templates, quizzes, word games, "This Day in History", painting pages, seasonal topics, and many more. Keep up the good work in helping us provide meaningful care for our precious residents that we are privileged to look after ✨️

I agree with you about your comment 100%.
Staff always think all we do is play games. As soon as they are offered to help or offered a position in this area they always seem to decline. They don't realise the amount of preparing and energy that goes into it. I would suggest when new staff come on board to give them an orientation day into lifestyle also. This will give them the opportunity to see the inside of our work. They may see differently and help us more. I do find we get limited help also to bring residents down to programs.
There has to be a way we can get other staff to support us D/T staff better.
