I am wanting to set up sensory games with our residents. I have bought aromatherapy oils etc for residents and staff to smell and discuss the scent. does anyone have any suggestions on what I can add to this to make the experience more fun?

Hi Hayley i have brought on herb and spices from the garden and cupboard, this lead to discussion on cooking recipes and even herbal remedies . The residents loved this and want to do it again.you could even just do a group of herbs then coordinate with the kitchen for lunch to have these herbs and spices included in there lunch
Your site is easy to use, I use it more often than the one our consultant has set up! I use so many of your ideas and love the Facebook page where everyone shares ideas, concerns and triumphs! I feel connected to a big wonderful caring society! I am always telling my co-workers how awesome Golden Carers is. I feel it is more in touch with the needs of my residents than many of the other Recreational Therapy sites.
