Hi Tami, I find it best for the residents' to acquire their own nail clippers etc for their personal use for infection control. For sanitization I use alcohol rubs and Cutan Alcohol Foam antiseptic handrub to wipe them down from the hospital I work at; and for all emery boards they can be discarded after some time. Families can purchase these items for them and if they don't have any family I purchase them myself as a gift to present to them. Hope this helps.
