Hi! I have been an Activity Coordinator at a 50 bed Seniors Lodge now for 4 1/2 years and love it! I have observed that I get the greatest gathering cooperation when there is food included and I was contemplating whether any of you have thoughts for nourishment for inspecting, or simply yummy treats? Up to this point I have Rootbeer Floats, Ice Cream Sundaes, Banana Splits, Sample frozen yogurt, cheddar and a combination of cured things. I as of now do popcorn evenings and Ice Cream Socials with things like Fudgesicles and so on I want a couple of more thoughts as I anticipate doing somewhere around two every month over the mid year months. Much obliged to you ahead of time and be careful out there.
It sounds like you have some wonderful treats for your residents
You are right food is a great motivator
You may want to ask the residents what they would like
In fact you could have a food committee if you want

I always like to make dips because they are easy and fairly healthy
I do not know the capability of your residents
Here are some ideas which are simple

Could also have a particular theme for your treats or you could plan a family night with the residents and their families

You could also have an arm chair travel with food
