Bungaree was an Aboriginal Australian from the Kuringai people of the Broken Bay area, 3 miles north of Sydney. He came to prominence in 1798, when he accompanied Matthew Flinders on a coastal survey as an interpreter, guide, and negotiator with the local indigenous groups.
Uluru, one of Australia’s most famous and immediately recognizable landmarks, is also known as 'Ayers Rock'. It is one of the most visited sites in Australia.
