We do something similar at our facility however everything we make we donate to the local ronald mcdonald house & when we have a box of stuff the residents that made it make a trip & hand deliver it to the sick kids the residents love to see the little kids faces

I created a find a word from here using my residents names they all had fun finding their names

I conducted this activity this morning we found that crochet cotton is easier that wool to use. Also I split my residents into pairs so one person put the cotton in glue while the other rolled it on the balloon this stopped the cotton from getting knotted.
