If you are non-profit you can ask local florists or grocery stores for donations, even if you aren't non-profit you might still be able too, i think it just depends. We use artificial flowers and rearrange them once a month; but i work with memory care clients so many don't recognize its the same batch month after month.
I'm trying to figure out a good group activity for our father's day party coming up this sunday. I work at a dementia care facility and many of my residents can no longer read or talk much. This makes it very hard to do group activities that require group coordination. I want to make it somewhat father's day themed, but I'm really struggling to find something that will be good for the residents and their families to join in as well. I am already doing a sing a long, but I was hoping to come up with another activity. Let me know if you can think of anything!
I would like to thank you all for everything you've done to help people like us, giving us the new ideas and confidence to carry on doing what we do. As you must be aware it's not the easiest job in the world, especially trying to get a smile out of someone. I wish you all the possible good wishes for the future and do hope you will continue for many years to come.
