Hi,
Have been instructed to leave items for our dementia residents to use after I have gone
home in the evening. I have done so in the past only to find pieces or items missing.
Having paid for most of the equipment and not wanting this to happen again, would like
suggestions if possible. Unfortunately, there will be occasions, when carers will have to
leave the lounge unattended, so safety is my main concern, many thanks in advance.

The instruction came from the owner of the home !

Have been instructed no longer to add to the monthly planner,
HAIRDRESSER, MANICURE, HOLY COMMUNION, SONGS OF PRAISE, told not an activity.
Would like your views on this and thank you in advance.

Just to say a very big thank you for all the replies received, first time have posted on
the forum very grateful, shall be putting all the suggestions into practice.

What a simple and good idea, why have I never thought of that ?
placing on main noticeboard is not working, but having in rooms is spot on.

Hi everyone,
Can anyone share ideas how to attract residents, families also staff to view
noticeboards within my home. Always told not aware of certain activities, entertainment
ect. Most of my time, running around getting people together.
