Finish the Sayings and Proverbs Game

My residents absolutely adored this activity! I wasn't sure if they would enjoy it but they definitely did. We have some visually impaired residents so I read the first part of the phrase/saying out loud and they finished it. I was very impressed with how many they knew!

Hello, I'm interested in ideas for prizes for winning games for small board and care homes. We are small, only have 18 residents (between 3 houses, 6 residents in each house) so we don't have a large activity budget or a little store that a lot of bigger facilities have. Any ideas are welcome! Thanks!

Love all the great ideas. Love Golden Carers. I have used so many of your ideas since I started and all with great feedback with staff who like to join in too. What a difference I have seen in the residents, more joining in because of giving them time to express what they like to do and always offering for them to join in, whatever the activity.
