I love this craft however we use little pom poms in different colors. Safer for some of our clients and they love it

I need your opinions please:
I am brand new as Activities Director for a Senior Day Center. Most of our clients (when they return) have pretty good cognitive abilities. Moderately functioning etc. I'm told they love to paint and with that in mind I want to order easels and canvas for them to paint on. Nothing larger than 8" or 10". Especially for those that are able to do this kind of art/craft. I want them to feel artistic and of course music to compliment the mood. Since our attendance is gong to be cut in half, I thought it would be a good time to try more creative ideas and grow with it. Any other suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks bunches in advance

You can make a grid or chart ( spread sheet or template to help). Itemize the acivities and then "check" off their participation
Example:
Patient: Name Here
1. Balloon Ball (Hitting balloon with foam noodle)
______Enjoys ______Tries to enjoy ______ Little interest _______ no involvement
2. Arts and crafts
______Enjoys ______finds it difficult ______Enjoys but difficult _______ not interested

I'm the activities director at a Senior Day Center. We are only taking partial attendance so far so for the other clients still at home, I am sending fun activity packets to them (everything and I mean EVERYTHING I found here) I would like to insert a survey page in their packets. My question is do you have a link/template or any info where I can create a survey page to add to their packets. I would like their feed back on what they are receiving etc....Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks tons!!!!!

Good Monday Morning to all! Any good links to a Beetles trivia or "Did You Know?" info. ? I have a few clients that are crazy over the Beetles and I would love to stick some trivia or quizzes in their care package for our Senior Day Services are currently closed...Thank you for any info you can pass along :-)

I love what you are doing. I will be doing the same now that I found this site. Our facility was to re open on Tuesday July 7th but now it's pushed to Aug 3rd. Anyway another idea I got was personalizing some puzzles using the templates they provide. Example: One of our ladies loves the Beetles. So I am going to personalize her cross word puzzle with Beetle questions and also "word search" with more Beetle words and personal words like her name and words related to her. Also she is of Irish culture so I will print out Irish information from the "Multicultural" section of this site. To name a few ideas! My hopes are they get a thrill when they open their package or even if their care givers are helping them, to see that its all related to THEIR interest. I will be doing 35 of these so I will definitely learn about cultures and "This Day In History" :) Lots of love and luck to you

I just LOVE the multicultural section of this fabulous website. I work as a Activities Director at a day service facility and we are currently closed due to COVID! I am mailing/delivering personalized packages to our clients. We have clients of many different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. Adding pages of color-printed information from their country really brightens their day. The family members/care givers are delighted to see a spark in their loved ones eyes when they see and read about their history. I am becoming so educated myself learning all this. It will help me when we get back to work striking a spark in our clients eye when I reminisce with them about their culture. I seriously can NOT get enough of this fantastic site. xoxo :-)
