Instructions
- Assess residents and decide which essential oils you want to use. Lavender is a popular choice for a variety of ailments. For instance, if a resident is having trouble sleeping, 1 or 2 drops of lavender on their pillow may assist in a restful sleep.
- You may also apply 1 or 2 drops to a handkerchief and ask the resident to inhale the aroma.
- If your budget allows, invest in a diffuser.
There are various different types available including nebulisers, clay pots and vaporisers.
