Merry Christmas to all. I would like to have a beach party in January and am thinking of doing a sandcastle competition with Kinetic Sand. Has anyone tried it. I'll do Beach Boys music, bright clothes and a barbecue as well.
Hi I'm planning one for February with our childcare gtoup that visits. I love the kinetic sand castle idea. I was going to get a couple of blow up paddling pools and use the fishing game. Beach volley ball would work too I think. Good luck Ros

I have had a beach party using regular sand. If inside- I used planks of wood upon tables or picnic tables outside. I got bags of sand from the hardware store and opened then on the wood. Poured a little water in and bought sand buckets, plastic shovels and other sand toys etc. to create sandcastles. If outside we had a BBQ and music playing or order hot dogs and food. This is a great sensory activity as the food is scent, sand is tactile, socialization, music is a sound and memory activity. Many thanks- Marcy
Thank you for your fantastic resources which I have utilised for some time now for the Golden Age Club which our church has run for almost 40 years. Thanks again, you provide a very valuable service which in the years to come will no doubt be more relevant as our population ages.
