Has anyone done a "musical chairs" version with seniors in wheelchairs?
Wondering if that might be a fun activity. Of course, I think it would be best if each resident had someone pushing their wheelchair and that person is actually the person who plops down in the musical chair.
Anyone done this or have any recommendations or suggestions?
Hi, Janey, this is a wonderful idea. You may play it as an Intergenerational activity or with staff residents' relatives, and volunteers. When School children visit the facility you have them placing themselves in front of each wheelchair when the music ceases. Joy and giggles will ensue.
I am loving the Golden Carers membership. I am finding great resources that I used on the first day of membership. The membership is of much value working as both an Activities Director, and also an Activities Consultant. I look forward to continuing to use the site and also the forum.
