My General manager, just ask me to write a speech for the day of the elder persons as we are hosting a high tea. Not sure were to start. Any ideas would be appreciated. regards Debbie
What comes to my mind is to make it personal. You love your residents. Tell some funny stories about things that have happened. Tell a heartwarming story about how a resident so appreciated what you did for them. Most residents are extremely grateful.
Thank you very much to Golden Carers for creating such an informative website. You have assisted me and my colleagues in developing a fun and engaging activities programme that is meaningful and interesting for our Bristol Care Homes residents. You are also our plan B in the event that plan A does not go as planned. We strongly advise all activity workers to join you.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

You could use the ideas from this speech https://www.goldencarers.com/thank-you-speech-for-volunteers/3424/ but thank the residents. You may even have some resident volunteers
