I know there are a number of DRTA members on there.
Good luck with your studies!

Hi Michael Great question so good to know you have heard about DRTA. Belonging to your professional body is an important investment. Not only does it show commitment to your profession but as you say gives discounted rates for face to face education and online content. The volunteer Board also work really hard to represent DTs and RAOs across all the industries we work. It would be fantastic to see you and your fellow classmates at conference next month & network with other graduates in the field. Also follow DRTA on Facebook and Instagram for updates etc Kim Bromley, VP2 DRTA
This site is an absolute God Send. I cannot thank you enough for the incredible wealth of information you provide. You have saved me hours a week and literally changed my life, I look forward to exploring all you have to offer and think this site is worth every cent, massive thank you to the founders, you can see where your heart is - everything is of an excellent standard and I love the opportunity you have provided for us all to connect and share ideas. Simply Amazing.
I'm a student studying a Cert 4 in Leisure & Health at Kangan Tafe in Melbourne.
I am thinking of joining DRTA for the student discounts on conferences and workshops.
I am wondering if full membership of DRTA is common in the industry, and if so, why/how?
What are the benefits of membership, do you think?
This may be a good question to post on our Facebook Group:
