Hi! I am an Activities Leader and RN in a Day Program. It seems our acuity level has been increasing year after year with no actual increase in Staffing. We would like to find or write an Acuity Level for our clients that would possibly justify our either increasing permanent or temporary Staff. Does anyone have an Acuity Level Score Sheet that they use in their facility that you would like to share? We are just beginning the process and will adapt any information we have to our facility.
Can't sign off without saying that I absolutely love and enjoy this site. Our lovely Seniors have benefited from many, many ideas and suggestions. We are located in the Washington, DC area and have a very diverse group of Seniors and I find I can use many of these ideas with my clientele.
Thank you Susan and your right, it IS difficult as working with Seniors our census can change month to month or even day to day due to illness, etc. I will definitely check out the Facebook group! Thank you again!
I believe your service is superb and more should access it. Keep up your great work. Many many thanks to the wonderful work you do and the manner in which you help people.

Getting the boss to agree to increase staffing is always a difficult task
You can think about talking to other group leaders in your area
This would be a good question to ask at our Facebook group
