Following the coronavirus lockdown in the UK, people have been creating rainbows for their windows to cheer up passers by and to convey a message of solidarity.
Many of you have probably seen rainbows popping up in house windows.
Why not get your residents to either make individual ones or use a bed sheet to make one all together to hang up outside or inside.
You just need one white bed sheet, it can be any size.
Someone draws a rainbow to mark out where the colours are going. And then start painting!
I got my residents to each paint a section in the colour they wanted, all I did was paint the outline so they knew where to paint and I left them to it.
Aprons are a good idea for this, so is washable paint so it will wash out of clothes if they do get messy.
